all right everybody I am all about efficiency and the five minute workout we've got a holiday handful this holiday season that's five of my favorite moves for every body part so let's see if we can break a sweat and change our body in
five minutes I know we can but I'm going to show you how easy it is and a lot of people think they don't have equipment and they keep making excuses use your couch use your chair I'm going to show you how to do a dynamic squat you're
just going to sit down and now I put my upper body and I put my triceps in it I'm going to take you through a little sample of a bunch of different moves you can mix it up look at this just using a
chair if you have light hand weights at home if you don't get yourself some that hand weights it's not hard you can start doing a total body move look all the way up to the ceiling opening up
the body when we do squats at baby body we put the booty in it so we put the weight in our heels we tuck the pelvis we make everything really Dynamic so I started out teaching classes and teaching people how to build curves and
change their booty they're called booty burn so I'm going to show you a couple of moves that we do light hand weight and weights are always optional you come down to all fours putting the weight in
your knees not your hands you take your knee all the way across and then you open up your knee so I'm not doing push-ups it's all hips and booty I'm working all the junk I'm working all the
trouble areas ladies I promise you this one works normally I would do this for about 30 seconds to a minute and then just teaching you a little bit like very Pilates inspired if you come down like
this and you start to lift the booty and you engage your core you're working on all the trouble areas and that's what I love like I love using the ABS using total body and getting into all the junk
so I have a whole booty series that we can do that's super fun but let me show you a couple more you can crunch watch my abs abs come in knee comes to forehead and now I'm lifting the glutes
and you see it working no pressure on the hands look crunch ABS booty thighs booty ABS you do this for a minute 30 seconds
to a minute yes you will change your body dropping down to the Elbow again abs are engaged knee comes in Flex the foot now I'm crunching and now I'm lifting
ABS booty ABS booty and if you're doing this with me and you're not just watching you'll see why five minutes work so all this stuff is amazing you can drop down into stretches you could
meet me in a yoga float we have all these things on the app from yoga to partner workouts to Family Fitness all kinds of stuff I want to show you one more thing because if you don't feel
super strong you gotta light up your core you've got to use your core for balance hold on to something hold on to something for stability we have workouts that we do in the kitchen you could actually come over to my house every
Thursday and we do a kitchen burn so look abs booty abs booty holding on if you don't feel stable you could drop down here and do a
reverse lunge and a kick I'll do it on the other side to show you how you use a chair for balance so if you're not feeling super strong you hold on right here and you give yourself some Grace
give yourself a little freedom to fall out of it to screw it up it doesn't have to be perfect I'll show you one more move taking a wide stance shoulders back I
love to use weights drop down into a lunge and then a little curtsy it's one of my favorites and it hits all the junk change is the booty
and it carves out the hips and then you put your abs in it and you drop down really kind to your knees carving it out and you see like under
here you see all the junk right carving out the booty you can make it more Dynamic so you get to decide when you're at home how hard you want to work I'm winded
ah after just five minutes five moves maybe a little bit more and we do all kinds of stuff because grab a weight Don't Be Afraid ladies that you're going
to build muscle it's such a myth grab a weight we're gonna get our heart rate up figure out how to get it done at home switching legs I love this move I'm
using my abs for balance my heart rate is already up no more excuses you get it done at home adding a little bit of weight will help me build a little bit of booty
you challenge yourself being really kind to the knees last thing I'm going to leave you with is thanks and planks so chat for a second
how you say it fine then it's how hard that is when we step into gratitude we create energy we change our mindset we find ways to feel good we all hate
planks I hate planks we started a series called planks and thanks you drop into your plank planks will change your body it's just how it is it's true true story everyone they're really hard we love to
hate them I'm going to use all 10 fingers I'm going to scoop out my belly I'm going to squeeze my thighs all ten fingers to think about what I'm grateful for and it's just a friendly reminder to
get out of my headspace to tap into my body so for me and you make it your own it would sound like this I'm grateful for family I'm grateful for my health I'm grateful
for this community I'm grateful for playing because even though I hate them I'm grateful for my children my friendships for strength for wellness for the
holidays grateful for success grateful for mindfulness friendship love all of the things that you're grateful for
step into some gratitude awesome distraction child's pose is the other side of it but I promise you if you start retraining
your brain and you retrain the way you think your body will follow suits your body will start listening to everything you're thinking so this holiday season just take care of yourself find things
